How to connect a project with Smartsheet

1. Go to sync.procore.com and login your account.

2. To connect a project using Smartsheet, click the “Connect Project” button located on the upper right corner of the page.


3. It will redirect you to the list of your procore projects. From here, select the procore project that you wish to use. You have two options to connect. (1) Quick Set-Up or (2) Connect. The “Quick Set-Up” automatically creates all the schedule files. While the “Connect” lets you manually create the schedule file.

Additional Note: After your selection, there will be a prompt asking if you have an existing Smartsheet file/template. If you choose yes, it will then ask you to select the Smartsheet file from a list. If you choose No, it will automatically generate a default Smartsheet file (Recommended - choosing NO to avoid any mismatch issues).

4. Then you will be redirected to the Project Schedule Page. Here you can see the status of your connected project. You can “Pause” the synchronization process of your project. Also, you can “Disconnect”,” Open” or “Rematch Column” the Smartsheet file that you are using.

5. Click the “Open” button to see the actual Smartsheet file. It will redirect you to the Smartsheet page.

6. To check the sync log. Go to “View Sync”. View Sync is located under your project(1). Click the “View Sync” and it will redirect you to the sync logs page.
